Meditation comes in many forms for Tammy.  Whether seated on a cushion with her hands in prayer, riding on her motorcycle, hands on the grips, or walking quietly in nature holding her camera.

Each of these practices offer her unique ways to experience the beauty of life that surrounds us. Her passion for photography is echoed in her body of work which ranges from candid moments of friends, animals and nature to her varying clients, products, and food.

How she encapsulates peace in each of these subjects is a quality she attributes to being a yoga teacher and her essential desire to reflect goodness in all areas of life.

Noticeable in her still life photography is the kindness, love, care and compassion she has for the world.

A yoga practice in action to capture moments of stillness, grace, joy, difficulty and love, Tammy strives to ensure her clients are comfortable so there is an energetic flow of kindness.

All-encompassing for her as a photographer is shooting in natural light to create a calm environment and merging that tranquil quality into her connection with her clients.

Her portfolio of work includes such grand experiences as photographing book covers for two authors, Jen Oliver and Renee Meloche, festival photographs for The Windsor Essex Tourism Board, and The Walkerville Art Walk.

Other projects include photographing automotive texture masters for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), and concert photos for Drop Dead Famous at The Walkerville Theatre, as well as baby photos, bridal showers, weddings and client headshots.

Tammy photographs firstly for herself, as it brings her such joy.  But it is this joy that compels her to share her images to reflect how truly beautiful life is so that others may experience happiness within.

Whether in her travels or at home in Ontario, photographing outdoor environments is her greatest pleasure.  Nature creates moments of stunning light that allow for a scene to be captured in an instant, fleeting in life but then living on forever through a photograph.

For her, each moment is a gift through the lens.
